Plan a Season of Preaching
in One Sitting
The Sermon Series Builder Kit gives you a complete, systematic approach to planning your preaching year.
Many pastors plan their preaching one week at a time. The result is either a string of disconnected messages that never build on each other, or the same message preached again and again, only with a different passage attached. Neither one feeds a congregation for a year.
The Sermon Series Builder Kit ends the week-to-week scramble. In one sitting, you will map out a whole season of preaching: a balanced diet of sermons drawn from the full range of Scripture, planned around the fixed events of your church year, with every passage and date assigned before the season begins. You will see the needs of your congregation and address them systematically, series by series. You will take on complex topics across several weeks instead of cramming everything into a single sermon no one can absorb. And when a guest preacher asks what to preach, you will have an answer ready: the topic and the passage, weeks in advance.
Why I Built This
For years I planned my preaching one week at a time. I would finish a sermon, and then the blank question waited for me on Monday morning: what do I preach next? Some years I preached whatever passage caught my eye that week, and my people received a random assortment of messages that never added up to anything. Other years I realized, too late, that I had preached the same message three times in two months, only with different texts.
I needed a way to see the whole season before the season began. So I built the process I wished someone had handed me years ago: sit down once, plan the season, and then spend the year preparing sermons instead of wondering what to preach. Now I offer it to you.

What You Will Have
The System
Start Here
Walks you through the one-sitting method, so you can plan a whole season of preaching in a single session instead of figuring it out week by week.
Fixed Event Finder
Finds the dates that are already taken before you plan a single series, so nothing you plan collides with what is already on the calendar.
Preaching Record
Keeps track of what you have preached, so you can balance what comes next. As you update it, it becomes next season's starting point.
Series Chooser
Guides you as you decide which series to preach, and in what order, before you assign a single passage.
Book Divider
Helps you divide larger books of the Bible along their natural seams so you preach a large book in multiple series. This form also carries the limited-hours plan builder for pastors whose week is already full.
Single Series Overview
Lays out one entire series on a single page: series name, text range, weekly passages, and movements. This sheet becomes your handoff to Step 1 of The Sermon Preparation Form.
Season Map
Shows you the whole season at a glance, with every series block, fixed event, open week, and preacher in its place.
Mid-Series Check-In
Prompts you to pause in the middle of a series and adjust course while there is still time to adjust it.
What Comes Next
Bridges the gap from your planned season into weekly sermon preparation with The Sermon Preparation Form.
